MOTHER Murdena (An Acrostic Poem)

Mother of rare species! Search worldwide; yet not found on any bush

Unbelievably, Untiringly, Ubiquitously there for your dear children

Reliable to them as the sunrise, never skipping a beat in its rising time

Divinely chosen! Just perfectly consistent a Mama! a Mom! a Mommy!

Energizing every minute fibre in each child, woman though she be

Noteworthy sacrificing your all – a Christ figure! Such finesse and grace

Altruistic! You coined the word! You demonstrate it! You are Mother!

Wash-belly Queen (An acrostic poem dedicated to Trudy Anne Silent in Celebration of her 44th Birthday, 19092020).

True blood, rare intelligence and wisdom

Radiant under the darkest cumulonimbus

Untouched by the thorns that spike at you

Determined to stand and face intimidating defeat

Yielding not an inch to the push of the rear-end enemy

Achiever!  Achiever! Diversifier! Matching your God-given gifts Never allowing assorted pains to conquer your strivings

Noble in family bonding initiatives that display care

Effervescent! Invisible tattoos of love and kindness

Such African beauty! Eyes diamond! Skin rich titanium!

Indelibly branded by the Master Artist, mold discarded

Lovingly lighting the way for many searching peers

Even those who seem to forget the path of your magnanimity

Nobly, sweetly defending your own cause against injustice

True to the end! Victory awaits you on earth and in heaven!
